Camera and measurements
Camera access starts only after your action. Audio is never requested. Frames are processed in a local worker; frames, video, raw landmarks and face embeddings are not uploaded or saved. Stop, leaving the page or hiding the tab ends the stream.
What the practice index means
Five transparent, hand-defined heuristics describe left/right movement, corner lift, mouth opening, eye/cheek movement and movement steadiness relative to your own neutral start. Mouth opening is not teeth detection; eye movement is not happiness or sincerity. A practice index is not attractiveness, identity, age, ethnicity, health or a diagnosis. Higher is not always better.
Your local choices
Age range, goal and acknowledgement are kept for this tab. Optional on-device history stores only derived practice scores, dates, goals, version, check-ins and favourites. It never contains camera media or landmarks. You can delete local data in Your space. Browser storage may be cleared or refused; private browsing can remove it.
Models and offline use
The first camera practice loads the model and WebAssembly from this app’s own origin. Model downloads carry no camera frames. Basic routines can work after the public app has been prepared for offline use; camera analysis needs its model files too. Installation does not guarantee offline readiness.
Real-person examples
Only real-person videos with appropriate usage rights may be published. The current candidates are still under review, so none are enabled for playback, face-feature comparison or offline video storage. Your camera images are not used to create or train examples.

You may choose to share a practice need through your email app.

If you send, SmileCraft receives your email address and message. Please leave out photos, videos, scores, face data and other sensitive details.
Accounts, children and payments
SmileCraft is designed for people13 and older. Age confirmation is a product entry choice, not a claim of verified age or universal legal compliance. Cloud accounts, score sync and live billing are not enabled. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts are installed. Future account services and score sync would require separate choices; younger users need appropriate safeguards.
